MetLife Legal Plans Wins Bronze Stevie in the American Business Awards

In recognition of our Client Service Center’s dedication to providing high-quality customer service, we were once again honored with a Bronze Stevie in the Customer Service Department of the Year category of the American Business Awards®.

In 2019, we implemented several new features to improve the technology our call center representatives use, as well as the experience for our customers. We rolled out a new phone system and added chat to our websites to allow members to contact us quickly and easily.

Some highlights from the year:

  • Calls answered in an average of 4 seconds
  • Achieved 0.34% abandonment of calls, less than 1% is the goal
  • 92% of members said in a survey that they were satisfied with the service provided by Client Service Representatives

MetLife Legal Plans has won this award for the last eight years. The American Business Awards are the nation’s premier business awards program. Nicknamed the “Stevies” for the Greek word meaning “crowned,” the awards recognize outstanding customer service among companies in the U.S. More than 3,800 nominations were reviewed in the judging process this year.
