It covers the performance of our plan attorneys, Client Service Representatives and Panel Representatives. We guarantee to refund the employee’s payroll deductions if we do not deliver the exceptional service we promise as part of our group benefit services.

Award-winning group benefit services

We guarantee that during regular operating hours our Client Service Representatives will:

  • Treat you with courtesy, dignity and respect.
  • Answer your call promptly.
  • Explain the benefits available to you as a legal plan member and help you understand coverage issues.
  • Devote as much time as necessary to address your questions and requests.
  • Offer you a choice of plan attorneys, all of whom have been trained by us to accept plan members as clients—or, in rare cases where we do not have a lawyer in your area, provide you with a method to select your own attorney and be reimbursed for your covered legal fees, according to a set fee schedule.
  • Direct you to a Panel Representative who is trained to work with you to resolve any concerns you may have requiring special attention.

Our attorney panel representatives will:

  • Treat you with courtesy, dignity and respect.
  • Devote as much time as necessary to hear and fully understand your concerns.
  • Use their special background and training to resolve any concern with your plan attorney within three business days.
  • Help you to understand coverage issues.

Our Participating Law Firms will:

  • Treat you with courtesy, dignity and respect.
  • Exhibit the highest degree of ethical conduct required by the applicable Code of Professional Responsibility or Model Rules of Professional Conduct.
  • Maintain an office that is professional in physical appearance.
  • Enter into written fee agreements with you for services not covered by your legal plan prior to providing those services, so that you understand in advance the attorney’s fees for which you are responsible.
  • Cooperate with Hyatt Legal Plans in resolving any problems within one business day of the report of the problem in ordinary cases, and no later than five business days of the report of the problem in unusual cases.

We don’t make these guarantees lightly. If you believe we’ve fallen short of our commitment to you:

  • Please call us at 800-821-6400;
  • Send an us an email; or
  • Complete the form on the Contact Us page to let us know.

We will work hard to fix the problem to your satisfaction. If we can’t, we will either:

  • Refund your legal plan deductions for your current benefit enrollment period up to one year; or
  • Provide one free year of additional eligibility under your employee group benefits or legal plan.

Whichever you decide, it’s our guarantee to you!
