Hyatt Legal Plans Recognized in the American Business Awards

CLEVELAND, May 14, 2018 – Hyatt Legal Plans has been recognized for providing excellent customer service once again by the American Business Awards. The company was awarded a Bronze Stevie in the Customer Service Department of the Year category earlier this month.

The American Business Awards are the nation’s premier business awards program. Nicknamed the “Stevies” for the Greek word meaning “crowned,” the awards recognize outstanding customer service among companies in the U.S. More than 3,700 nominations were reviewed in the judging process this year.

“Providing a high level of service isimportant in every interaction, so we train all our employees on how to listen and make real connections with our customers,” says Jean Ritchie, Director of the Client Service Center for Hyatt Legal Plans. “We are excited to once again be recognized by the American Business Awards for the work we put into meeting our customers’ needs every day.”

Over the last few years, the company has focused on looking at the entire customer experience to find ways to improve service. Through a recently instituted “Voice of the Customer” program, Hyatt employees gather feedback from members and customers to improve the customer experience. In 2017 several major changes were made in direct response to feedback, including extending call center hours, adding more self-help documents and providing more translation capabilities.

A Hyatt member survey last year also found that members were highly satisfied with the customer service. Of the respondents to the survey, 92% said they were satisfied with the service provided by the Client Service Center.
