Sales Analyst

What You Will Do/Need (Job Summary):
The Sales Analyst will collect and analyze data to evaluate existing and potential clients, markets, products and business opportunities. This will be achieved by running competitive analysis, conducting forecasting, and making recommendations on how the sales and marketing teams should move forward. The Sales Analyst is an individual contributor with no direct report/people management responsibilities. However, the role helps to manage timelines and contributions from colleagues to ensure deadlines and key milestones are achieved.

Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Responsibilities):

  • Manage pipeline forecasts and sales reports
  • Performs data analysis to assess opportunities
  • Primary contact for the monthly sales projections and sales reports
  • Prepare sales reports using MS Office tools, and other technologies
  • Manages reports on broker and sales contests
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports to identify sales patterns and areas for improvement
  • Assess market data, including competitors, to identify areas where the company can increase its efforts
  • Present actionable information and insights to team members and management
  • Collaborate with team members and members of other departments

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, skills, and abilities required):

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Several years of experience in a sales analyst role
  • Advanced problem-solving and analysis skills
  • Advanced in all MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Access)
  • Superior oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative
  • Ability to work independently and on a team
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Excellent time management

  • Leadership experience managing sales reports and forecasting
  • or other sales reporting technology experience

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

This role is not expected to travel.
