Office Consultation and Telephone Advice
LawPlan® provides you with the opportunity to discuss with an attorney any personal legal problems that are not specifically excluded. During consultation, the LawPlan® attorney will explain your rights, point out your options and recommend a course of action. If representation is recommended, but is not covered by the Plan, the LawPlan® Attorney will provide a written fee statement in advance.

You may choose whether to retain the LawPlan® attorney at your own expense; seek outside counsel; or do nothing. There are no restrictions on the number of times per year you may use this service; however, for a non-covered matter, this service is not intended to provide you with continuing access to a LawPlan® attorney in order to undertake your own representation. The LawPlan® attorney will make the final determination of coverage.
