Hyatt Legal Plans maintains a national network of more than 12,000 highly qualified attorneys who have at least seven years in the practice of law (and 25 years is the average). The attorneys are located in all 50 states and U.S. territories and are conveniently located in areas where legal plan members live and work. Attorneys have an extensive breadth and depth of experience and are selected based on their qualifications and capabilities. (View our attorney selection criteria.) Additionally, network attorneys agree to our Attorney Code of Excellence before joining our panel.
Participating law firms are continually evaluated by Hyatt staff members who are solely dedicated to recruiting, training and managing our nationwide network of attorneys. Hyatt re-credentials these firms on an ongoing basis to ensure that members have access to the best attorneys possible at all times.
Ensuring Quality in the Hyatt Legal Plans Attorney Network:
- We ensure quality in the attorney network through careful initial selection, training, close supervision, regular communication and client feedback.
- All attorneys in our network must have malpractice insurance of at least $100,000/claim, no bar or disciplinary complaints and operate a fully staffed general practice law firm.
- Our network attorneys are managed, monitored and evaluated on performance and service by a department of 10 Panel Representatives who are managed by our General Counsel and Assistant General Counsel.
- We monitor network performance through audits, telephone calls and office visits that test service levels, client feedback, surveys and daily contact.
